Activity Mentoring is not an online class
Actify’s competitions track ends when a pitch, paper, essay, or model is finished. That is a different product from a course with weekly videos.
We used to hear the same request in two languages: “온라인 강의 같은 프로그램 있나요?” and “Do you have an online lecture program?” What people usually meant was a structured way to get ready for a competition without flying somewhere. What they did not mean—once we asked follow-up questions—was another library of videos.
So we named the product what it is. Activity Mentoring pairs you with a specialist until the work is done. Investing, entrepreneurship, essays, olympiads, research: same shape, different craft.
Classes measure attendance. Challenges measure a file.
A class can be excellent and still leave you with notes. A challenge is unfinished until there is a deck, a paper, an essay, or a model you could submit. That sounds stricter because it is. It also saves students from the familiar trap of finishing a course and still having nothing to enter.
One specialist, not a rotating panel
You work with one professional who still does the underlying job. An associate who builds models. A founder who has raised. A researcher who has published. They are not “content creators” for the platform. If chemistry is wrong, we rematch. We do not paper over it with a second instructor in week six.
How this sits next to internships
Internships are for live work with a host team. Challenges are for a competition or a research product. Some students do both in different seasons. Doing both at once is usually a bad idea: the manager and the mentor will each think they have your Friday.
What “done” looks like by track
Investment: a thesis, a model, and a pitch that can take questions. Entrepreneurship: a venture narrative and a pitch a judge could fund or reject on the merits. Essays: a piece with a voice, inside the word limit, aimed at a real prompt. Olympiads: a practice rhythm and written solutions, not vibes. Research: a question, a method, and a draft that a mentor can mark up like a colleague.
