What the Diamond Challenge is

The Diamond Challenge is a high school entrepreneurship competition run through the University of Delaware, with tracks such as business innovation and social innovation. Teams typically submit a written concept and later pitch live as they advance.

Judges look for customer learning, feasibility, and a clear venture story—not only slides.

Who should enter

High school students forming or already on a venture team. You should be willing to interview real potential customers and revise the concept based on evidence.

What Actify produces: venture pitch package

A written concept, pitch deck, and customer-interview log aligned to Diamond Challenge requirements. Mentoring is 1:1 with a specialist until that package is ready to file.

Timeline relative to the competition cycle

Teams often begin 8–12 weeks before the written submission window, then continue pitch rehearsal if they advance to later rounds. Fall written deadlines and winter finals are common patterns—verify the current season on the host site.
